What a bunch of hateful comments.

Parents have the right to pull their kids out of school if they believe something is going on that they're not crazy about.

In this case, it appears that Ivanka used these students as some sort of photo op to show she is interested in education issues. Why would parents want their kids to be used in such a fashion?

Ivanka Trump is involved in several shady real estate deals, and makes money off of people working in foreign sweat shops for a little bit of nothing. Why would parents want her held up as a role model for their kids?

It was a comment this week in another thread making the suggestion. No doubt it was seen as tolerant.
You are aware that not everyone on the left thinks the other side need to be put in any kind of "re-education camp" aren't you? But to be fair I've seen a few posts on here from some right wing extremists who unabashedly state that liberals, or anything left of bat **** crazy, should be put in the equivalent of Nazi concentration camps. I don't think all conservatives want that.

Aren't we getting a bit ridiculous? What are they afraid of? I can't imagine a bunch of Republicans pulling their children out of school because Chelsea Clinton came.
You must be new on this board. There are several posters here who would raise hell if Chelsea visited. Or insist on having the place fumigated if the Obamas visited.

Ivanka makes money off of foreign sweat shops and is involved in several shady real estate deals involving Russian money laundering and drug cartels.

Not sure she is an appropriate model for high school students.

Definitely don't agree with the school allowing her to use students for a photo op

I agree. I wouldn’t want my kid around her.

C'mon now. These are high schoolers in an early college program Im pretty sure they're old enough to think for themselves. And Ivanka isnt some active shooter on school grounds that parents have to rush and pick up their kids Lol.

IMO, by pulling their kids out of school, they're teaching there kids to harbor hate, and disrespect anyone that oppose their political views. No wonder a lot of young liberal millennial's act the way they do.
