Call me uptight but I don't want to hear sordid stories about how a married man visited a prostitute, I don't want to hear about how a man had a threesome with his chauffer and his wife, nor how another one and his wife both had affairs.

Our news and coverage of the political scene has gotten to the point if it were suggested as a script for a fictional show, the ratings people wouldn't allow it in primetime.

The political coverage reminds me of an x rated high school, back biting, click infested, circle jerk and I am sick and tired of it ALL.

Literally every talk show you watch has something about this MESS on. It has literally gotten to the point where I don't allow my daughter to be in the room when I watch alot of shows that used to be no problem letting her watch AND thank god for Tivo and fast forward.

Anybody else tired of the sordidness?

Yeap.. it has me so turned off.. that I now turn off the television and to be honest.. could care less what they are saying.. Television has become unreasonable to sit there and make light of all the stuff they are showing.. pretty soon the candidates will not be able to "fart" with out a news bulletin interrupting regularly scheduled programming..

If Ayaan had stayed a member of parliament in Holland she would have been as protected as Geert Wilders (and we don't even like the guy). We protect our members of parliament, because they have to be able to speak their mind (as long as they don’t break the law).
