Trump won the first round of the foreign emoluments law suit but faces a second with the domestic emoluments lawsuit. The only reason he won the foreign emoluments lawsuit was because it's up to congress and not citizens to enforce the foreign emoluments clause. We all know who controls congress. Trump has benefited bigly while being president. His annual dues at Mar-A-Lago have gone up from 100k a year to 200k a year. I'm sure just one member more then covered the cost of those meals. I would give an educated guess that those meals are below chump change to him. Lets keep it in perspective shall we?

Yes it was nice of him, but it's also a tax deduction and he is making money off of the secret service at out expense. They pay to stay and pay to rent the golf carts that follow him around on his nearly monthly visit to one of his golf clubs. Rumor has it that Trump has spent 147 million of tax payer dollars on travel in 9 months. Already half of what Obama spent in 8 years. Meals? Meh. Not impressed.

It seems to me you KNOW little but say a lot.
Please post facts backing up what you claim and then it can be rationally (yeah right) discussed.
Did those places that Obama or any other president went to do so for free or at cost? I can't say factually if they did nor not but I'd guess not. I'd also guess like most government contractors they billed at an inflated premium...
Don't you think Trump should release those figures? Why do you think he does not release them?

The knife cuts both ways...
The money Trump is making at his resorts and country clubs outweighs his salary. Donating his salary is a nice thing to do, but it would be even nicer if Trump didn't charge the taxpayers for all the costs associated with his stays on his own properties.

If they want to do their job and keep their job they will want to preform the job as required.

When they stayed at various properties with other presidents they did not freeload. They paid unless the owner offered the property for free.

In the end it will be less than the 10 trillion in debt Obama rack up.

The owner right now could give the government a break on the charges.
