Obama = One Big Ass Mistake America

Typical of a Trump supporter to make statements without any supporting facts. You reveal your own looniness by imagining Communist infiltration. Are you some old geezer leftover from the McCarthy era? Do you think your silly acronym proves anything?

I enjoy watching the slow, painful death of this wretched law.

It's a direct reflection on the Obama Presidency. It was designed to fail. Hillary not getting elected screwed up their plans for single payer.

Economic boom or bust aside, we still need to eliminate employer based health coverage though. No party has been eager to take that on.

Even Democrats who would have been paying the penalty for not buying health care should be relieved if another form of health care will be offered. Right now many people who had health care prior to Obamacare, hardly couldn't afford to keep health insurance with the high deductibles.

Anything is better than being lied to.

No bill will be good for everyone but at a minimum it should not be allowed for President Obama to sign a bill under false pretentious.

Another promise will be kept by President Trump.

MAGA!
For once we are in agreement, bentlebee. The sooner we get to universal healthcare the better.

No it doesn't, because if you change jobs or lose your job, you lose your coverage until benefits for the new one kick in. Most jobs make you wait 60-90 days for benefits rather than giving them on day 1, and COBRA is uber expensive

Wrong. Trump and the GOP's obsession with destroying the ACA will accelerate the approach of single payer. We'll get it a lot quicker than if Hillary was elected. If she would have gotten in she would have promoted it, hit a brick wall, and failed. I can't believe you guys didn't see that coming. You guys were played!

One should plan the move, with the cost of COBRA in mind.

For professional positions, it is not uncommon for the new employer to reimburse COBRA payments of a new hire, often grossing them up, to include the taxes the new hire would pay for the reimbursement.
