In February the Trump Tax Cuts will show up in people's paychecks. At that point-it will be impossible for even CNN and MSNBC talking heads to lie and distort the truth. People see extra money in their paychecks and KNOW, once and for all, who has been lying to them for months. The "tax increase" that Dems told them about ends up putting money in their pockets. They also will know that NOT ONE Democrat voted to give them a break. Even more-they will learn that this tax relief is temporary, thanks to the fact that 60 votes were required in the Senate to make it permanent-and not one Democrat voted to give the middle class a break. In just a few years the Democrats will be responsible for one of the largest tax increases in history.
So-what do you think? Will the GOP take 60 seats in the Senate, making the Democrat party even more irrelevant? How many seats will Dims lose in the House? How many governorships?
On a related note-how much more will CNN and BSNBC viewership drop once their lies are so blatantly revealed?
Too early to tell -- ironically while I support most of what Trump is doing I was opposed to the tax cut.
The republicans have only 8 seats up for re-election. On the other hand Trump's candidate lost in Alabama but I wouldn't put too much stock in that as it was a strange situation with a flawed candidate.
I think we'll end up pretty similar after the election, to what things look like now.
25 seats Democrats have to defend (10 of those seats in states Trump won). I dont have a crystal ball, but I will predict Republicans can take 2-3 more seats away from Democrats. Personally, Democrats have no platform and their policies have been crappy for the past decade. Most Americans vote with their wallets and not for gender neutral bathrooms. A lot of things can happen from now till midterm elections.

None, Pub's will lose the Senate and possibly the house. Again, we are not stupid enough to fall for an extra $15-$20/week, and know that it will have a price tag that we don't want to pay (gutting SS and Medicare). Not everyone are the gullible rubes you make them out to be

Senate map rocks, so GOP should add 5 there. 4 Dems run where Trump won easily, and where he is now polling between 50 and 60% popularity.

Mueller going after those who conspired with the Russians.
GOP going after voters, trying to convince them they didn't just sell him down the river.
So much for helping the Middle Class. It looks like Paul Ryan and the GOP are definitely going after Medicare and Social Security. This was just posted at Redstate:
"By providing a voucher system for Medicare and Medicaid patients to buy privately offered insurance plans, instead of having government pay healthcare providers directly, Congress can cut the out-of-control spending growth related to these programs, while tapping the private sector to create a solution to prevent cutting benefits. This same sort of public-private partnership would also work for Social Security..."
