There’s a strong correlation between being against “political correctness” and being a terrible person.
Political correctness is about being "polite" no matter how horrible a person you are.
Political correctness allows a person to stab you in the back while grinning to your face. It gives one the ability to be deceptive and malicious while maintaining a socially acceptable face.
I am considerate to people not because I am politcally correct, but because I respect people and I am not an a-hole.
I have no use for political correctness, personally, and it gives antisocial people (racist, sexist, homophobes) cover.
