We are cursed with a really stupid population in this country. The rest of the world is collectively much smarter than the average American, who still thinks global warming is a myth. SMH at the ignorance we are surrounded by.
How are the Cheetos tasting while being on the computer while sitting in Mommy's basement?

No individual season or storm is specifically due to climate change. Hurricanes, snow, cold in your backyard- those things are weather. Climate change can make certain types of weather more or less likely (as well as exacerbate extremes), but it's not the same thing. This shouldn't have to be said over and over and over and over again. Guess what, the earth isn't flat, either.

When referencing a GLOBAL phenomenon like climate change (and not just an Atlantic Ocean regional issue), yes, we have records going back 10,000 years. We know how much carbon dioxide was in the atmosphere then and now. We know CO2 has a warming feedback, and we know nature alone cannot account for the majority of the rise since the beginning of the Industrial Revolution.

For the record, official hurricane seasonal records go back to 1850.

Just like many on the left overreact whenever there is a heat wave, record cold is weather not climate.

I myself am a libertarian who believes we do have an issue with climate change but I believe the solution lies in dimming the suns rays through geoengineering not carbon taxing everyone to death. In time through technology we will deal with the Co2 issue. For now lets halt the warming.

The fact that is option is not being fully studied makes me believe the left is using climate change as an excuse to tax and redistribute wealth.

How correct your last paragraph is. This country has a bad case of stupid. From the voters to the drivers to the stubborn people who need to go to a rally of an already elected president just for the emotional support and shouting “Lock her Up” .
