You just have to have better dirt on them, than they got on you. Right now, Trump holds the upperhand, as usual.
If you are aware Trump is playing the FBI -- you don't think the FBI KNOW that Trump is trying to play them.

Shaking my head.

YEs -- headlines and ratings -- doesn't matter about results -- he's a celebrity.

Kinda shocked. Hasn't Trump attacked " the failing NY Times " repeatedly as part of the fake news conspiracy that's out to get him.

Don't be so cynical, the "Nixon" defense is a classic

In ab article in Vox, Ezra Klein describes Trump's NYT'a interview as "incomprehensible, authoritarian, and uniformed."

"It begins with a string of falsehoods that make it difficult to tell whether the leader of the free world is lying or delusional. "

LOL, exactly! I would love to see ALL media outlets totally ignore the NUT-JOB, and refuse to mention anything about him or even grant him an interview......then he would IMPLODE!

It's a total waste of time to ever cover his LYING A**, since everything that comes out of his mouth is a lie!

As for that special counsel investigation, while some Trump allies have actively tried to undermine the Mueller probe, in the interview Trump hewed closely to what his own lawyers have been saying. "I think that Bob Mueller will be fair, and everybody knows that there was no collusion," Trump said.

Right here is my favorite part. More or less IF he did have something to do with it, it wasn't illegal.

In a 30-minute interview, President Trump made 24 false or misleading claims
President Trump gave an impromptu half-hour interview with the New York Times on Dec. 28. We combed through the transcript and hereís a quick roundup of the false, misleading or dubious claims that he made, at a rate of one every 75 seconds. (Some of the interview was off the record, so itís possible the rate of false claims per minute is higher.)

A lie every 75 seconds.

That's got to be a new record for Trump.

Wow--it is breathtaking that one person can lie so many times in one half-hour interview. This is why is handlers don't like Trump doing these things without their knowledge.

Because he appears to have little or no knowledge of the truth, the interviews must be 'managed.' Trump cannot be trusted to even speak to a reporter because his unscripted remarks usually get him into trouble. (Except, of course, the state news Fox, which simply repeats what he says without question.

The guy has less and less credibility, and every time he opens his mouth it becomes worse.
