The Republicans care more about the big defense contractors, the Democrats care more about the welfare of the troops.
The Democrats care more about veterans while the Republicans just like to talk about caring for vets (but seldom vote to support programs for veterans).
I know I will get slammed but I can't help but think about Benghazi and how Obama and Hillary left our people out there to die while they played politics.
There is a very strong core belief in the branches of the military that you leave no one behind and they did just that.
Of course. One is so proud of her draft dodging husband, and the other detests military people because they do what he is so incapable of. I was DI better part of 5 years and I know very well who could or could not cut the mustard.
It does come down to the individual and not the party they belong to. I don't think Obama cared about the military but Joe Biden certainly did.[/quote]
Don't kid your selves. Its both parties. Lets look at the biggie that tore us apart.......Vietnam. Truman {Dem} perhaps initially started it. Eisenhower{REP} sent "advisors" and became more involved.Kennedy {Dem} Escalated things further. Johnson {Dem} went full scale and sold most of us veterans out by not even thinking he could win. Nixon {Rep} continued to let us be killed for nothing because he too did not want a win...........
As a Vietnam veteran My feeling is Both "parties" can go to hell..........
Leftists only pretend to care about military veterans when they get to attack conservatives/Republicans. If you don't believe me, go over to the Occupy Democrats page on facebook. They post too much unbelievable stuff.
