Anyone check their 401k accounts recently ? Dow up like 25 percent . Unemployment low etc .

Maybe liberals should make it New Years resolution to stop hating our President and freaking out over nothing .

In other words Keep Calm .. and Make America Great Again !

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
My 401k, my portfolio has been going up up up up up up up up. for as many years.

if you think the last 12 months is anything new than you are faking it. the big money was made circa 2009-2012. the next 5 years were great but not even close to the big money.

that 19% market growth was great. but don't start pretending the DOW is the market, it is a small part of the market and don't pretend we saw 25% growth WE DID NOT.

19.5% for the s&P500... that is a much broader, index. the total market index

BUT REMEMBER 2013 was BETTER. 2013 WAS BETTER.. i say this ONLY because so many trumpers are wholly ignorant of market performance and have been fooled by FOX/TRUMP into believing this year is some kind of record. Hint markets go up over time thus there are always "New highs".

only 20% of the pop directly own stocks and just over half own them indirectly through 401ks etc..

about half the pop saw ZERO gain, and about 1-5% got about 80% of the gains. (depending who you believe.)

it was a great year for stocks, i say that for about the 7th year in a row. but don't be fooled a massive crash may be in the works, and at the very least a major correction. if you are new to investing, make sure you have put aside enough money to last a couple of years AND to buy on super lows...

I don't care for him as a person either BUT I agree that he is the right person for the job right now out of who our choices were. That is the biggest thing I took into consideration when trying to figure out who to vote for this past election.

The bad part is that there are many republicans that fight him just because it's Trump. There is good and bad with the healthcare. The one good thing is they are doing away with the penalty tax that taxed people who don't have healthcare. That is a small step, but one in the right direction.

You should apply this to Trump, the ultimate child.

Don't be ridiculous. Does the "he did it first!" excuse work when your kids use it?

Nope, not going to stop calling out the P*u*s*s*y-Grabber-in-Chief for the odious human being that he has always been and continues to be, nor to object to the divisive policies he is attempting to enact and the discord he is sowing between us and our allies around the globe. Sorry if that upsets you, OP, that's my responsibility an American citizen and voter.

Everytime "that's racist!", "you're a racist", is shouted whenever you* comes across someone who has different ideas and opinions as you, you are doing a major disservice to yourself, others, and you are absolutely, 100%, without a doubt, spitting on the graves of those who DID suffer atrocities due to REAL racism. Your faux cries have ZERO power. YOU (those who do this sort of thing) are the ones who are truly becoming desperate as you realize this basic truth of the reality you've created. You can only cry wolf so many times.

Nothing to do with "a black man to become president." The "other side" supported blacks such as Alan Keyes, Herman Cain and J.C. Watts.

In that case be sure to tell kids about William the Impeached.

Exactly. The OP's post was entirely fact-free drivel, and I love how the far-right still can't justify hating Obama for 8 years (basically because he's black) and yet they expect everyone to love Trump, who has never been anything more than a scumbag.

The brutal reality is that there is nothing Obama did that earned him the hatred of the far-right, and there is nothing Trump has ever done to earn him admiration from much of anyone aside from his close cronies. He is a disgusting little man-child and a disgrace to this nation. It is appalling that partisan lunacy is so great in this country that people would willingly vote for a complete fraud just to "get back at the black man in the white house." Shameful.
