And fwiw, I dislike Chris Matthews and would be more than happy to see him fired in favor of someone who wasn't so in love with his own voice that he spent 90% of his show talking and interrupting the guests on it. But news from an actual, you know, news source, would be needed, not something from a RWNJ blog that creates alternative facts on a regular basis.
His resignation is supposed to take effect SOMETIME today, but his Senate website, Twitter, etc. aren't reflecting that this has taken effect yet.
As I finished typing the above ^^^^^ (804 am Central Time), the new caption on the screen on CNN (live television, not their website) included that he PLANS to resign today.
Pilot1--Is it possible to give Trump credit for tax reform, cutting back regulations, etc., and still admit some of his negatives like his dishonesty (pushing the "birther" crap for instance), his divisiveness and bigotry ("Mexicans are rapists"), his egomania (calling in his cabinet to give him the "dear leader" treatment), etc., etc.? Trump supporters act like Trump can walk on water and do no wrong. That's why I call them "Trumpies".
