Not surprising... lowest performers have the biggest growth opportunity. It's not rocket science.

California also has the country's highest poverty rate too, when considering cost of living.

But but but the tech industry...

TRUE: California has the nation

Nice try, but FL has the same poverty rate as CA using that method.

Of course the real story is simply tax rates are one of MANY factors. If tax was the only or even majority factor, NYC would have a population of 8 and a zero econonomy and Kansas would be a huge state with the highest growth. No CO and NM which went Hillary are also the highest growth color

Your absolutely right they always, always have low unemployment rates. It has been that way since they collect the data.

I am sure North Dakotans prefer labor shortages as opposed to competing with millions of illegal aliens for jobs.
Dude. My nephew drives trucks ND to OH I see the videos from his dashcam. ND makes OH look like a tropical paradise.

You seem to have overlooked the poor performance of red states Montana, South Dakota, Nebraska, and Kansas.

Not to mention that the blue states of Colorado and Michigan are in the top echelon.

Cons see only what they want to see.

But overall, the red states are killin it with the election of the Great Orange King. Michigan voted for Trump and they are benefitting tremendously in GDP growth....make Michigan Great Again (MMGM)...since we elected Trump, I bought 2 American cars for the first time in decades and they're awesome.
