He talks a good line of BS but given we have yet to see the GREAT ACA replacement he said would be in place immediately after he took office his as well as have Mexico paying for a wall, his execution of his blathery plans is demonstrably lacking in execution.
What you so optimistically call a 'plan' seems at this point little more than a suggestion of throwing $$$ at the problem.
It is just like his call to renew our space exploration. He comes up with all these pie in the sky ideas, but has no plans how to get them paid for or implemented.

You have to start with a vision, and ideas first before you can get to implementation.
Of choice, sure, meaning that the government should not stand in the way of alternative education. Where you and I probably differ is that I do not think it's in the best interest of our nation to dismantle public schools in favor of a private system. I am absolutely in favor of publicly-funded education, which is not fundamentally anathema to choice.

He is relying on Burnie for bipartisan support and show how it can be done for free.

Yep. Trump's MO is to spout his nonsense and then go golfing, expecting other people to magically get things done. That's neither leadership nor vision.
The PUBLIC SECTOR teacher's UNIONS are the biggest part of the problem. They promote their own far left agenda, only support Democrat candidates, and take our tax dollars for themselves, We need to get rid of public sector unions that work against the very people that pay the salaries, benefits, and pensions, The CITIZEN TAX PAYER.
Get rid of the unions, and the education problems will be solved.
There aren't many societal problems which could be largely solved by a single action -- but this step is an obvious exception to the rule: public employee unionism needs to be reformed, and its power drastically curbed, if not outlawed entirely .

Indoctrination not education is becoming the norm in public schools. If we agree on that then whatever develops as an alternative is worthy of support.
