Senator Grassley calls Fusion GPS's bluff, and calls them out to testify in open session.

The ball is in your court Fusion, put up, or shut up.

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley is willing to have executives from the firm behind the disputed Trump-Russia dossier testify publicly, his spokesman said Wednesday

Foy said Fusion GPS co-founder Glenn Simpson rebuffed the committee's request six months earlier to testify publicly and invoked his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination "to negotiate for a closed-door interview."

"Despite his public statements, Mr. Simpson and his attorney demanded during the interview that the transcript be kept confidential," Foy said. "Mr. Simpson has refused to answer dozens of questions voluntarily, and has failed to provide the Committee with documents and responses to follow-up questions after the interview."

The weasels. They may look cute and cuddly, but trust me, you don't want to get too close to these little beasts.

So Grassley changed his tune from being unable to release the transcript because of the FBI investigation. His latest lie was that Simpson requested that the transcript remain confidential but he just requested their release.

After 17 hours of hearings he wants GPS to testify yet again in a public hearing, makes no sense unless you believe Grassley.

Why would he lie about something he wants public?

Fusion ran their mouth calling for the release of the transcripts knowing then can't be released.

Well, Grassley just called them out.

Fusion's mouth wrote a check, it's time for their butts to cash it.

You dems shouldn't have latched onto this, Fusion was clearly just sh*t talking.

Fusion, the time for trash talking is over, put up, or shut up.

I still go with the Op-ed in the NYT. on Wednesday 1/3/2018. Release the transcripts of the hearings.

Grassley first lied to a man at a town hall. He continues to lie as well as the OP who keeps going with the same statement which is old news as of 1/3/2018.

No this is Grassley being a weasel. He knows he can ask questions designed to make fusionGPS look bad or damage their business. Probably via getting into their customer lists etc. IE he intends on hurting them in public testimony. Something they didn't do behind closed doors.

He isn't "calling their bluff", he is threatening them subtly. If he was actually calling their bluff he would release the closed door transcripts.

Yes, like all the questions they plead the 5th to.

Of course the dems on the committee could feed Fusion softball questions.

Like I said, time for Fusion to put up, or shut up.
