I have most historians who are credible agree the nazis are right wing they are not allowed to write lies or propaganda their professional reputation is at stake.

Why would anyone do that? FDR's high taxes on some but not all, among other misguided policies, extended the Great Depression by 7 years.
I've read speculation on that. It maybe true. I have many criticisms for FDR myself. Regardless, people were literally homeless, starving, and had no hope of getting any work to earn any money for either. President Hoover literally had the military use its force to evict protesting WWI veterans looking for an early payout of their promised bonuses so that they wouldn't starve or freeze to death. FDR's programs prevented people from dying unnecessarily of starvation or freezing and likely prevented a true socialist or communist revolution from taking place. I don't think our country would have survived 4 more years of Hoover's approach without something big and deadly happening. FDR basically put capitalism on life support in this country.
The far right confuses social programs like social security or food stamps in a capitalist country with socialism. Socialism is the government ownership of the means of production. The closest this country comes to that is Alaska's ownership of its mineral resources.

Socialism a political and economic theory of social organization that advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole.

Socialists tend to be anti-war, pro-human rights which is why leftist groups in many countries opposed the politics that led up to both WW I and ll. Look at Albert Einstein, a self described Socialist who was actively opposed to popular right-wing sentiment brewing in Germany at the time.
Hitler banned guns as a means of control, while Leftists oppose (not ban) guns because they don't like violence. Clear difference.
