lol, thanks for the laugh Bentbow, you make the funniest posts.
Here is the deal prosecutor can't be touched , learn your law dude, AND the lawyer who brought this might be in trouble for bringing it in the first place because it is frillous and even a 1st year law student knows this.
sounds like you don't understand the issues on this thread but feel the need to support trumpy. maybe instead of posting you could be reading, it is all online.
The main result of this will be some great hourly billing by Manafort's attorneys. Good thing he got those millions from lobbying work, he's going to need them!
Mueller is authorized to investigate "any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation" and the claim that the charges against Manafort are outside his purview doesn't pass the straight face test.
Not often you see a criminal suing his prosecutor--good luck with that.
President Trump's former campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, has filed a lawsuit challenging the authority of special counsel Robert Mueller. In a court filing, lawyers for Manafort argue that the order establishing Mueller's investigation is overly broad and not permitted under Justice Department regulations. “The investigation of Mr. Manafort is completely unmoored from the Special Counsel’s original jurisdiction to investigate ‘any links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump,’ ” the complaint reads.“It has instead focused on unrelated, decade-old business dealings—specifically, Ukraine political campaign consulting activities of Mr. Manafort.” Manafort pleaded not guilty to multiple counts in October, including conspiracy against the United States and money laundering related to his work for a pro-Russia political party in Ukraine.

You're not a first-year law student, and you have no idea what one would think about this.
I've read the complaint, and you haven't, which puts you at a distinct disadvantage in this discussion. The complaint makes a strong argument that the scope of the appointment order exceeds what is permitted under the applicable provision of the CFR and that the charges against Manafort are beyond even that.
