It's the championship game. Cheapest seats are just under $2K. What "real" person can afford that or be willing to shell out that much to sit in the rafters?

Alabama vs. Georgia ticket prices hit record high - Jan. 2, 2018

And look, I'm using CNN as my source so it must be true.

Even so, college kids from UGA and UA are not the same as kids from Cal, Wisconsin, or Washington.

He's going to get a good reception if I had to guess.
Trump lost the college towns in Alabama in the recent elections there, and he lost Athens Georgia, the home of the University of Georgia. This is pretty much a home game for Georgia, their students will be well represented.

I think it is a nice gesture, but President Trump better hope this doesn't backfire in his face. I'm not sure tens of thousands of liberal college students would give him the warmest reception.

If the game was between UCLA and Washington, I doubt he would be going. No political points to be made for going to a game with teams from blue states, this just for show.

These kids go to UGA in Athens and UA in Tuscaloosa.

We aren't talking about Berkeley, Madison, Seattle or Boulder here.

You saying kids from these two schools are not the same kids from Cal or Washington, but Trump lost the election in these red state college towns also. So in that regards, these kids were on the same page on how they voted.
