Dow breaks out to the up side on price chart in early trading.

“This quarter is shaping up to be another barnburner of a quarter. We’re seeing a very large percentage of companies beating expectations and we don’t think we’ve seen a peak yet,”

And when the tech sector hit new records under Obama, there were no Repubs in sight.

Is that what you are going to rely on when the claim was Armageddon for the economy and the market when Trump was elected ?
Do you drive a Delorean ?

I don't know why I continue to check in on this thread now and again, other than because it comes up as one I've commented in before...

Your stubbornness in terms of beating this drum is unique, I give you that. You suggest that positives about Trump are being ignored as defense or justification for why you insist the the Dow's ups and downs are equal to our economies ups and downs, and now..., proof of Trump's success and/or failure.

Seems you don't have the reason or logic to understand that what other positives or negatives Trump deserves has little to do with your misguided belief that today's markets and/or economy is all thanks to Trump.

This thread has gone on a long time as a result of your repetitive comments and all the other comments attempting to explain the simple truth to you, about how the DJIA is not a grade card for any POTUS. Still, I think you just like beating the dead horse to see who new might come along and dance in circles a little longer with you.

I also really have to wonder if you are new to politics or this game of crediting all good to your guy and all bad to the other guy, making sense not necessary! A game that has been played since the beginning, by people who really don't know what's going on but love to play anyway. Driven by a combination of ego, extreme bias and WAY too much time on one's hands.

My investments are way better off today than they were 7 months ago. I don't attribute that to any one person other than myself, especially not a President or law maker, nor do I tie it to the mostly irrelevant DJIA.

Same person who is here celebrating DOW breaking even for the year (its late July), is on another thread celebrating the fact that the government has to spend billions of taxpayer money to bail outs of US farmers who can't stay afloat because of Trumps trade war.

Congratulations -- you invest well to do better than the Dow.

So you understand why I was kind of mocking celebrating the stock market 'success' of today.
