If Trump had any business savvy, not to mention an ounce of decency, he wouldn't have gone into the gambling business to begin with.
Again, not based in fact, removing your argument for gambling and decency. In 1984 casinos in NJ were essentially a monopoly in the greater north east of the US. Fast forward a few decades and next thing you know, CT and PA swoop in and open their own thereby eliminating the monopoly.
This has nothing to do with business savvy. Bad luck, and maybe bad timing. These are simple facts of the business landscape that nobody saw coming, and it just doesn't make sense to assume casinos are some sort of cash printing business model.

Trump was a failure in a predatory and unsavory business. But if you want to continue to think he's some kind of financial genius that's fine with me.

Predatory and unsavory is your opinion, but please quote where I said Trump is a financial genius. I'm sick of partisan hacks like you who insist that anyone who counters your argument must be a flag waiving Trump supporter. Your inability to distance yourself from this pure hate and binary thinking is part of the reason our political landscape is the way it is.
You are correct. But you aren't the persons 007 quoted blaming the Dems for the drop. What do they have to say? That suddenly Trump deserves the credit for the uptick?

I know I'm not, but I'm pointing out yet again that this whole nonsense about the POTUS controlling the market is just that, non-sense. Short term blips, tangled in decades long impacts of tinkering with things, plus the actual businesses behind the indexes make it impossible to assign total credit or blame to one POTUS.

You're sure spending a lot of time defending him. Getting a little hot under the collar too, throwing around terms like "partisan hack", while pretending to be impartial and non-partisan.
