The chart of the Dow and other major stock indexes is starting to look like a delayed and somewhat drawn-out version of the chart of Bitcoin from the past ~6 months.

This thread reminds me a little of how Trump is also trying to take credit for Kim Jong-un's invitation to meet even though Kim Jong-un has been extending that invitation to past presidents since the 1990s. Oops! Never mind that too...

indices is the plural of index...the talking heads get it wrong constantly too.

Maybe you can reminds us how many past presidents accepted Rocket man's invite.

That would be a really good trick. Kim Jong-un has been the supreme leader of North Korea since 17 December 2011.
Maybe he issued the invitation at his baby shower.

Good catch. I should have made clear the invite has been getting extended by the Supreme Leader of North Korea since the 1990's. My point is that Trump likes to take credit for much having little to do with him and his followers love giving him credit for those things as long as they are positive. If negative, it's because of whomever Trump deems his enemy or "enemy of the people."

Nevertheless, I appreciate the correction and/or prod for clarification. No good trick. No kidding...

Iím no fan of Trump, but China is notorious for its total disregard of intellectual property.

If Trump can do something constructive about that, more power to him.

Trump's steel and aluminum tariffs were just plain stupidity from a temper tantrum apparently. But these tariffs to protect intellectual property rights are long, long overdue. From tires to cell phones to airplanes, China has stolen the inventions of the world. They are incapable of innovation on their own, it seems. I'm with Trump on this one, even if the stock market takes a dip. In the long run, standing up to Red Chinese pirating is in our best interests.

I'm a white male that works for a living.

When have I ever received anything from a Democrat?

If this is crumbs, then it's a pleasant alternative to what I would be getting if Democrats were in charge.

FTR, almost all the cuts to the top rate occurred when Democrats controlled both houses of Congress.
