I'm not buying. A little run-up like this (back to 10 month ago levels) will be an excuse for me to sell more.

When Trump is gone I'll consider putting more money into equities.

Wasn't the new Royalty the Dems taking the house power next year. That was the event that was going to save the economy, the markets and the planet. Surprised to see the Dems have no confidence in their ability to govern.

Making financial decisions based on Trump. He is living rent free in your head.
Someone here just said how foolish it would be for Trump supporters to do that but somehow its a virtue if a lefty does it. SNL can't write better material.

You just pointed that out but apparently can't understand it.

Twist it any way you want.
Too funny; you’re still at it.

Quoted for posterity.

Thanks, I've been told I have a way of entertaining children that is quite good. I've only recently expanded into entertaining adults and have found the same methods work with some of them too.

Fiat currency aside, imaginary accounts don’t produce anything.

Interesting indicator:

Did The Next Recession Arrive In October?
Quote:
... If RV shipments are an indicator of economic activity, then the next recession may have arrived. RV shipments for October 2018 were 43,568, down 11% Y/Y. Through year-to-date October 2018 they were 422,067, down 1% Y/Y. ...
Personally I think October would be too early. Other indicators, even some that have gone downhill lately, aren't doing bad enough yet for us to be in an actual recession IMO. But it's an interesting indicator to watch anyway.

again cool story mate.

Yet your post history shows a relentless assault on liberals and a never ending defense of republicans.

let me be clear for you t206.

You have massive post history attacking liberal after liberal after liberal with a slight dusting of neutrality.

that little dusting , means NOTHING . Absolutely nothing compared to the vast majority of your postings.

and please get a grip , i am not "attacking you' i am calling you out for claiming to be something you are not.

Another strange indicator: read an article that you the economy is doing well because retail dining was up, the next month it fell.

Nope, you just have a selective and incorrect memory. I absolutely support some conservative ideas and dislike lots of liberal ideas,so there are plenty of examples of that on here, but this nonsense about my never ending defense of actual Republicans is not based in reality, sorry. I can post examples all day long.

Heck, I can even go back to a post from 2008 that shows that I'm not some partisian rubber stamp on any republican candidate

Couldnt agree more. It drives me crazy to see people fight over mcCain and Obama as if there is really that much difference.

3rd party for me this year, although I'm not 100% set on who.

Yeah, I mean if you want to support a borderline rapist, then Trump is your man. If you want to support a woman that should be convicted of treason, then vote for Hillary. I'll vote for Johnson and at least not fear that I'm voting for a criminal.

I wish I could get more people like you to stop wasting their vote, but I won't comment or again explain how voting for other than someone with a chance to win is a waste of a vote...

None of us may be altogether happy with what essentially amounts to a two-party political system in America, but none of us can deny that "binary" reality. Might be under the illusion that casting that protest vote or alternative vote amounts to something, but take a good look around and ultimately you have to see nothing of the sort is the case. Maybe, only maybe if there were an alternative candidate that seemed to have the backing and support to actually compete, but when there is no such contender, you are wasting your vote if you vote for them anyway instead of those who have a real chance to assume office, typically either the Democrat or Republican.

On the one hand it would be interesting to see what would happen if all you who waste those votes actually voted for one of the two candidates most likely to win the election. I suspect the Democrats would benefit if they did. On the other hand if people who claim to lean conservative like you do were to vote Republican, for the likes of Trump, then best you continue to go ahead and waste that vote of yours far as I'm concerned...

Your opinion is just that, an opinion. It doesn't make it correct, nor does it change the considerable thought I've put into how I express my opinion with my vote.
