I suppose we are in a situation where, at best, we get back to nothing (25K+). At worst...well, we get down to 15K.

Neither of those are "great".
It was at 19,827 at the close on inaguration day.

It was 22,878 at today's close

So, Trump's still up 3,000 pts. Granted, this gain could go away

[b][b]But, more importantly, we have 2 NEW CONSERVATIVE SUPREME COURT JUSTICES THAT ARE THERE FOR LIFE, AND SOON TO BE A 3rd. THIS GAIN WON'T GO AWAY

On the way up or the way down, people in this thread have ignored the fact that raw point gain/loss means nothing. Its all about percent.

It’s all about how my managed portfolio is doing. Down a bunch of $$$’s this week. Will see after today.

Yup and we are still down 10 per cent for the month of December.

I just hope we can get back up...we all do. It's what we all want.

I don't care why -- just as long as it goes up.

Isn't there are saying "There are lies, there are damn lies and then there's statistics"? Yep, anyone can make statistics mean anything. As I've said, so far I think it was largely attributed to the holiday sales projections which was the best in what, 20/30 years? I want to see where things go from here, but I don't see this a Trump thing.
