Regardless of how Trumpees try to excuse it, at the very least, his responses are childish as Hell. What 70 year old man acts like a spoiled 4 year old ? Only one that I can think of.
TDS has cause the mentally unstable to react to his words in a tweet and never see his actions and what has been accomplished.

Trumplings are basically cultists at this point, sadly. Their actions reflect that: total denial of facts, making up utter nonsense to praise Trump, and so on. A casual look around this forum is very telling. We've seen the cultists claim everything, including: "People couldn't say Merry Christmas without fear until Trump took power," "the economy only recovered under Trump," "Trump prevents airplane crashes," and plenty of just random, stupid posts praising Trump without even offering a reason WHY to praise him.
Trump is a professional con-man, so him fooling people isn't surprising. What IS sad and shocking is how so many on the far-right have intentionally forgotten all the facts to justify voting for him and continuing to blindly support their party with partisan nonsense. Just remember that the vast majority of these Trumpers today wouldn't have trusted Trump a few years ago with their retirement fund, their house for a weekend, or their wife or daughter for one night. But the moment the Orange Oaf gets a cute little (R) after his name, they all forget the past 30 years and suddenly love the guy. It really is indicative of a mental illness.
It doesn't take a genius or heroic levels of courage to say something like, "I'm a Republican, but Trump is an immature slimebag crook," but they lack the moral conviction to do so, sadly.
There are only 2 things Trump has ever said (at least recently) that are true:
- He could kill a man in cold blood in broad daylight and not suffer a hit to his poll numbers or lose any supporters. One look around this forum, where we have putzes praising Trump for everything from the recovery under Obama to preventing airplanes from crashing, is proof enough of that... and there are forums way more right-wing than this one.
- He is still basically the same person he was in 1st grade. A casual look at his behavior over the years indicates that is mostly true, although I don't know many 1st graders who sexually assault women. Still, from the viewpoint of emotional stability, maturity, and other higher-end cognitive functions, Trump is still basically a 1st grader. Were he not so dangerous, he would be pitiful.
No, I bet a good percentage of them still hang onto that little myth. We are dealing with people who believe a child porn ring is run out of a pizza parlor by the Clintons, so what does that tell you ?

See, this is where you are wrong. His "success", ie getting elected by foolish people, makes anyone with any sense of decency and respect for an institution like the Presidency of the United States figuratively weep for what our country has become.

If success is to be measured just by being elected as president, the far-right should also love Obama.
If success is to be measured just by wealth, the far-right should also love the Clintons.
Obviously, this is just more right-wing partisan nonsense. I'm not envious of Trump - why would I want to be a rich scumbag with the intellectual and emotional depth of a 1st grader? - and he has no business being president, no matter how rich he is.
