Cameron didn't have 'bromance' with Obama and thought he was a narcissist, claims former adviser | The Independent

Apart from the fact that it's a third person quoting, the description is not of a narcissist. And also not necessarily true. We already know that in fact Obama did listen to all kinds of people - maybe not Cameron, but others." And unlike, say, Trump, who is an ignoramus, Obama was often the smartest person around.

Trump is, of course, the one who is close to a textbook narcissist. You can check this out:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...=.db387c411ac0

You'll notice that especially applicable to Trump are: “grandiosity and attention seeking ... a need for excessive admiration... and a sense of being special."

Absolutely.

I can also see where Obama could come off a bit condescending, as another poster said, used to lecturing others.

You're the one who needs to do a little research.

Poor?.....Clawed?....Really ?

Most people are poor relative to the Trumps, but that doesn't mean they are poor.

Obama spent about two-thirds of his time before graduating from high school living with his grandparents. His grandmother was a branch manager at a bank and, by the time Obama was nine, one of the first female vice presidents at the bank. His grandfather was a furniture salesman. From 5th grade on through 12th grade, Obama attended The Punahou School, one of the oldest and most prestigious prep schools in Hawaii. He had a partial scholarship, but his family also paid some of the tuition. They were also able to give some help (to add to loans, etc.) when he went to Occidental College. During that nearly two thirds of his childhood, when his mother was in town, his mother didn't have to live with them. His mother usually had a separate place, often nearby.

Same with Michelle, she remembers dating Barack, and his car having holes in the floorboard so you could see the road underneath.
Obama didn't meet Michelle until the year he turned 27. He had already been raised...he was a grown man. Obama was a college graduate by the time he was 22. Given those years in that decade, fellow graduates from less fortunate circumstances, who put the highest priority on making money (nothing wrong with Obama not doing so), probably had better cars than the one Michelle remembers.

Trump may be self-absorbed, etc, but at least he is honest about what he says, unlike Obama, who tends to sugar-coat his BS.

The same David that abandoned his country when he could not get his way?

Cameron is a Tory supported by Rupert Murdoch. I definitely don't care what he thinks.

He didn't abandon his country, he said from the start that he would not seek reelection, campaigned for Britain to remain however when we voted to leave he decided his position was untenable and decided to step down, in other than the party could select a new leader.

The office of Prime Minister being very different to President.

Firstly you have to have to be chosen to represent a constituency as an Member of Parliament, and like Cameron you will probably have relevant qualifications and background.

Cameron worked as a Parliamentary Research before attending the University of Oxford where he attained a forst class honours degree (over 70%) in Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE), his tutor, Professor Vernon Bogdanor, has described him as "one of the ablest" students he had ever taught.

Cameron had numerous roles as a soecial advisor to different ministers includuing the Chancellors Office before being selected to tun for the Witney Constituency in Oxford, he went on to move from a Bankbench MP to a Ministerial Position and was eventually selected to lead the party.

Cameron managed to secure two election victories and had worked very hard to obtain the position of Prime Minister, however he expressed his wsh to stand down well before Brexit and it became clear that he didn't want to continue for a third term, and when the Brexit result was announced consideed his position and that of the party and decided it was best for a new leader to take charge and that the new leader must be given time.

Tony Blair made a similar decision when he handed power over to Gordon Brown in 2007, after Balir secured a third term in office in 2005. So it's not unique for a leader to stand down and pave the way for a new leader/PM.

His salaries from public service jobs were not enough to give him this luxurious lifestyle he has now. He got rich the way the Clintons and most politicians do -- bribes, kickbacks, influence peddling. That's why we need term limits, which will never happen because everyone wants in on the Gravy Train.

Trump actually built a business empire. Just having money handed to you when you are young guarantees nothing. How many spoiled rich kids have we read about forever who p1ss away their money on booze, hookers, drugs and shopping, never working a day in their lives?

You need to read The Art of the Deal and then make your ludicrous claims about Trump. He has always been a workaholic. His work is his drug.

So.. he could have put all those money he got, into index funds, and still be richer then he is now!!

He was such a poor business man, he could not get a loan in the US, the last 15-20 years because he failed so often and cheated lenders out of their money.
