I wish people would stop saying "good ol republican values" or "typical democrat" every time some idiot politician does something wrong, as if the actions of one person represent an entire group of people. It only makes them sound like an idiot.
Back to the subject, I am glad he got caught. I am glad he has been humiliated before the entire country. I have no respect for cheaters. Don't take the vows if you're not serious about the sanctity of your marriage.
He’s denying the blackmail photograph so I guess it’s possible that didn’t happen, but I’m inclined to believe her, not him. What’s notable is that the (more) liberal papers in Missouri had evidence of the affair since be his election but sat on it until it went viral on social media.
He was already unpopular with the state senate for his high-handed approach to governing, a central part of which was slamming “career politicians,” blaming them for Missouri ‘s problems. Until now, the most egregious thing his staff did was publish the personal phone number of a Republican senator who wasn’t cooperating with his legislative agenda.
My office is across the street from the Capitol in Jefferson City, so i literally have a ringside seat to this. Be interesting to see how this plays out.
I wonder was it a coincidence that his State of the State address last night took a decidedly conciliatory tone and he did a special shout out to support something that is near and dear to his wife?
Just as a note in case anyone forgot. In 2008 Greitens was a democrat and supported Obama.
And of course, you didn't vote for him on principle in 2016, right?
