I don't look to politicians or laws to define morality. Never. Politicians -- all of them -- and I mean BOTH PARTIES -- are morally bankrupt. Don't kid yourself that because XYZ candidate is in office that everybody else is better/worse. They aren't. They're one and the same.

If women revered life there would be no need for Roe v Wade. It would be obsolete.

LOL. Its NOT trump or any one president/ administration...its the ENTIRE Govt behind them that has become tyrannical.

Presidents/ administrations, come and go every 4-8 years, they are temporary 'talking heads'.

Smoking cigarettes while pregnant is obviously harmful to the baby...
  • Lower the amount of oxygen available to you and your growing baby
  • Increase your baby's heart rate
  • Increase the chances of miscarriage and stillbirth
  • Increase the risk that your baby is born prematurely and/or born with low birth weight
  • Increase your baby's risk of developing respiratory (lung) problems
  • Increases risks of birth defects
  • Increases risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome

With regards to the baby, the result from abortion is the result you are trying to avoid with smoking. Why is abortion OK?
Do you really have to ask that.

The answer to that is not in poking others in the eye.

Ending abortion is a lost cause. Rightly or wrongly, many women see abortion as a fundamental right and see any attempts to restrict it as inherently misogynistic.

We just want the right to determine the course of our own lives. It really is that simple.

And yes, you are correct. We will not be returning to the days when we were denied that right. It's simply not going to happen.

That is not always true. It depends on the gestational age. The vast majority of abortions are performed at embryo stage (<11 weeks) not fetus stage. An embryo would not be considered a murder victim. This is still the stage where 30% of pregnancies are spontaneously aborted by the body.

How can we tell people they have to take care of sick people when we say it is okay to kill a perfectly healthy unborn child?
