But those countries are liberal darlings. It is racist to point that out.

I am deeply ashamed of today's America- no sane person can be proud of it in its present state. I am not ashamed of being an American, though, because a decisive majority of Americans did not vote for this ignoramus and the despicable characters that surround him. We fell victim to an archaic and undemocratic system of elections and that is the one reason I am not disgusted with my American citizenship. I take comfort in knowing that Most of my fellow citizens are better than this.

I think there is still hope for this country but it will not shine until the dark underbelly, known as "Trump's base", is denounced on every street and in every corner, denounced loudly and clearly. Every child in every school must be taught how this ignorant and hateful movement came about and what the fallacies in its thinking are. That must be taught like we teach basic English or Math. I know it will happen and that knowledge keeps me inspired. Germany did it, Italy did it, Spain did it and so shall we.

Let all of us who still remember the words "decency", "humanity" and "knowledge" do everything within our ability to peacefully un-elect all members of Trump's party and place it in the trash bin of history where it duly belongs! If we don't do it, then who will?
I'm ashamed that liberals choose for illegals over legal aliens/citizens and try to ignore issues of the Country just for votes and for not able to deal with losing an election!

That's what liberals should be very ashamed about! Their so called compassion is not for victims of illegal aliens but for people who broke the law!

People called it an "apartheid wall" since it kept out people who had a mission to kill.

I am not ashamed of the people who run America right now in our nation and state. I am sorry they have to deal with those who like to call people ugly names. Democrats how did that name calling work out for you? lol

Has there ever been a perfect country? Were you proud of America when we saved the world from German and Japanese aggression? Because in those days segregation was legal and Patriotic, loyal Americans were put in camps simply because they were of Japanese ancestry.

Trumps A Pig And So Are The Deplorables Who Put Him In Office

Sounds like a winning D mid-term platform to me.

Well there is Ishmael Beah, A Long Way Gone: Memoirs of a Boy Soldier. He made his way from Sierra Leone to refuge in New York. He is now "a UNICEF Ambassador and Advocate for Children Affected by War; a member of the Human Rights Watch Children's Rights Advisory Committee; an advisory board member at the Center for the Study of Youth and Political Violence at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville; visiting scholar at the Center for International Conflict Resolution at Columbia University; visiting Senior Research Fellow at the Center for the Study of Genocide, Conflict Resolution, and Human Rights at Rutgers University; cofounder of the Network of Young People Affected by War (NYPAW); and president of the Ishmael Beah Foundation." (link to source). The trick is to create an immigration system that separates the wheat, people like him, from the chaff, almost everyone else.

This after 8 disastrous years with a socialist/Marxist fiend who did all he could to protect terrorism, disarm the military and welcome in ANYBODY who could make it across a non-existent border to bring harm to this nation. You all look like idiots to the Trump base.............
