Thanks for the links. They don't answer my specific question of how the UK processes discharges for the mentally ill/homeless, but I do see that it can take up to 18 weeks to be seen by a mental health intake specialist there. 4-1/2 months is an awful long time for someone in immediate need of mental health services. They can't keep you admitted in a hospital until your appointment, so what do they do?
So, you think this mentally ill young woman, was correctly dumped in the cold streets of Baltimore in her hospital gown? You believe this was right and just? I read a lot of your posts, and shake my head in amazement.
I'm not a liberal by any means.......not at all. But dumping an ill woman late at night on the street, seems a tad cruel, wouldn't you agree? In fact don't you think............ it's a little disgusting?

I saw on the link that the UK processes for discharge of the mentally ill/homeless are to leave them on a street at night almost naked and without shoes when temps are below freezing. NOT!

Our healthcare system is all about profit and is literally becoming an inhumane entity.
Sadly, this is largely what our country is about now. Ever since Money Became God, we have went downhill. It's like any other drug, food, activity, etc.
A economy is important to have - but when you have one where you cheer others (like Don the Con) who rip off people, pay off women not to talk, put money in their own pockets when in positions of responsibility, etc. - then things are hopeless.
There may be some good people in this country but the percentage is WAY too small to create a truly superior nation. Sure, we can blow up things better than anyone else - our claim to fame!
