Considering that there were 17 people to start, it really isn’t surprising that the vote was split enough that the eventual winner could (and did) win it all with less than 50%. Also, winning electoral but not popular has more to do with how those electoral votes are divvied up. It’s no miraculous feat...just a real possibility with the present system and has happened before.

What makes Trump as President a miracle? I really still don’t understand why some Christians not only tolerate him, but are fervently counting him as president as a miracle or the like. He hasn’t had anything like a Saul to Paul transformation and certainly doesn’t act Christ-like. I would be sad and disappointed if my kids acted like him. Just so much that doesn’t make sense to me.
