If he/she Manning hadn't had his/her sentence commuted by Obama, who also pardoned terrorists at GITMO, he/she would still be behind bars.
As a reminder, he/she was convicted of espionage after handing over classified information that contained sensitive U.S. State Department cables covering the U.S. wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Much of the material was marked secret.
If those actions don't define what a traitor is, I'd like to know what does. Manning does not even belong in the United States, much less Congress.

Republicans don't seem to mind criminals. They loved Nixon until it was painfully obvious that he was a crook.
They voted for Rick Scott, who as CEO, presided over one of the largest Medicare frauds in the history of the US. Scott’s company Columbia/HCA paid fraud fines of $1.7 billion.
Scott claimed to be ignorant of these criminal activities, despite running the company for 10 years, which begs the question--is he just stupid, so removed from the entity he's governing that he is oblivious, or is he flat-out lying? Many felt he is a criminal who should have gone to prison.
How about openly passing classified intel to Russian spies. Intel that Israel shared with our IC, no less.
