That's not a distraction. You may wish to make this into a blame the liberals topic but the fact is it's both sides who have such a narrow-mindedness that we're becoming a nation of people with no critical thinking skills who refuse to even listen to people they disagree with for one reason or another.

Because they haven't been trained to think and function independently. They've been taught dependency, and to rely on government to meet their needs. Government is their father figure. Freedom is frowned upon because it requires responsibility. These kids are even scared to pump their own gas these days. They just want to plug it in.
