So far with regards to Trump, no crime has been committed.
We have an investigation looking for a crime.

Watergate was a crime being investigated.

No one has been caught and charged with a crime as far as the DNC hack.
And nothing happened in 2015 when the DNC got hacked.
That no one has been caught and charged does not negate that a crime occurred.

Mueller is not investigating the DNC hack though. An investigation showed that 2 anonymous hackers did it.
And that's where it ended.

Bannon wasn't working on the Trump campaign in June 2016 when the Russia/Trump Tower meeting occurred. Bannon joined the Trump campaign in July 2016.

yeah you guys have been saying that for over a year. Yet here we are, doing fine and building a blue wave.

seem to me the folks crying on this forum are mostly cult members, they are upset to find Trumpism peaked and they got nothing but cents on the dollar.

meanwhile Trumpy gave coastal elites like me who hate him, tens of thousands in instant tax breaks and much more longer term.

scraps for the cult, a feast for the elites.. and we will still vote him out.

If that's the case why didn't Bannon go to Mueller ?
Why do nothing and wait for Mueller to call you ?

Well, since the e-mails went from the data collector (only WikiLeaks knows for sure who that is) directly to WikiLeaks, what role do you believe Trump played in this alleged crime?

Do you think Trump hacked the DNC server?

But Bannon hates everyone, so he may not feel inclined to spill his guts to the RINOs. Guess it will depend on what other information they have that might persuade him.

Yes, but it does naturally lead us to ask why Trump/the Trump campaign is being investigated for an alleged crime when there is nothing whatsoever to indicate that anyone in Trump's inner circle had anything to do with it.

It's a fishing expedition.

The correct way to investigate the e-mail leak to WikiLeaks is to investigate WikiLeaks and see where the information actually came from (maybe put the squeeze on Ecuador), but that won't do because that could lead anywhere and the point to the investigation is to delegitimize the Trump victory.

This has gone on for more than a year with nothing to show, and it seems now that the only reason for it continuing to exist is to keep Mueller from having to come forward and admit that the only reason Trump was ever investigated is because the Hillary crowd refuses to accept the results of the 2016 election.

I'm starting to come to the same conclusion. The Russians did the same to both parties during the 2012 campaign. That news story came out in 2013 and there were no calls for investigations. And this article that talks about the 2012 election also cites cyber attacks in both campaigns for the 2008 election.
