Because he wants to perpetuate the myth that he's a "stable genius" while hiding his corrupt business practices.

once again i ask you, just what do you expect to see in his tax returns that are not on his financial disclosure documents he released to the FEC? presidential candidates are NOT required to release their tax returns, it was started in the past to gain an advantage over their opponent, or in the case of romney, to hammer the opponent with their own returns.

Get over yourselves. He's gonna be our President for the next 7 years and his tax return isn't any of your business.

It is our business when you're President, and he has some corrupt dealings to hide in there.

Even if he was engaged in corrupt business practices that wouldn't be disclosed in his income tax return. Sorry you're not a winner. Please try again.

For starters, his effective rate of tax he pays on his income and what he's doing with respect to itemizations and charitable donations in relation to his businesses. Also a clearer understanding of his liquid assets.

I get that it's not required, but anyone who is serving as President should disclose it, and it should be a law. This is a higher standard than an ordinary citizen should expect. Most candidates with some integrity get this and this have been willing to release theirs.

I'm under no pretense here - obviously he will never release them, and the reason most likely is because there is something damaging in there.

Trump supporters do nothing but deflect.

QUERY: "Where are Trump's tax returns?"

TRUMP SUPPORTER RESPONSE: "How much money will you save from Trump's tax bill?"

QUERY: "Why does Trump spend so much taxpayer money on vacation?"

TRUMP SUPPORTER RESPONSE: "Obama went on vacation all the time, so what's the problem?"

QUERY: "Why does Trump act so disrespectful toward other people?"

TRUMP SUPPORTER RESPONSE: "Hilary should be thrown in prison!"

What is the deal with that? Ask a straightforward question and you don't get a straightforward response. They invariably veer off into Obama/Hilary/fake news territory.

you think a tax return is going to show liquid assets that his financial disclosure documents that have been filed with the FEC and ARE publid record wont show you anything?

as for what his effective tax rate is, if it isnt as low as possible then he isnt that good of a businessman is he? what does it matter what his tax rate was anyway? if all you want is ammunition to use against him, why should he supply it for you? that would be like sending in the marines to fight an enemy, and then arming the enemy.
