This is typical hysteria from Leftists who hate the President, and have nothing better to do with their time than to find something to criticize.

We don't need to keep designating new "national monuments" with every administration. I think we have enough national parks, and every time they designate a new one, some other activity is prohibited. Enough!

The issue isn't board meetings. The issue is a meeting of an advisory panel with a newly-appointed Secretary whom they are supposed to advise. The panel requested meeting multiple times. The Secretary declined to meet with them even once.

On more than one occasion President Trump has extended a hand to the Democrats and they turned their backs. They have shown their disrespect for the office of the Presidency many times over again - they have not accepted losing. Five, possibly more, top Democrats will not even attend the State of the Union address. All of this complaining is just more political BS.

Because they hold meetings at the direction of the Director of the National Park Service. A position that is currently unfilled, and which Trump has not nominated anymore for. In the meantime, the Advisory Board was formed in the 1930's. It is required to have people who have demonstrated a commitment to the park service and the mission the park service was created to serve. It is required to have people who represent different regions of the United States, so that it's advice is comprehensive and doesn't favor one region over another. Zinke may be a great Secretary of the Interior, but that doesn't mean that he shouldn't at least review the input of the Advisory Board. I would think that a great Secretary of the Interior would be utilizing the resources at his disposal, in order to make the best decisions possible. Of course, it's possible that in the current administration, the agenda requires no input or information, but simply a will to follow Trump's whims of the day.

This isn't a partisan issue. The Secretary can appoint his choices to the Advisory Panel as long as his choices meet the requirements of appointments.

I looked it up they are unpaid.

Whoda' thunk?

More "draining the swamp."

They sound like typical liberal spoiled little children, "if I can't have MY WAY, I will quit"

the number may in fact be less, however the sentiment is still the same. Democrats are blocking the senate confirmation votes of hundreds of Trump nominees... while complaining that their side isn't being treated fairly.

Down here in Texas we call that hypocrisy. Up there in wackadoodlelibland I suppose that's called Wednesday.

Of course not; otherwise it’s racist.

Do you not know that only 1% of park visitors are black? The vast majority of visitors are white.

again. why are liberals concerned about this? Liberals in the Senate refuse to allow HUNDREDS of Trump appointees receive Senate Confirmation votes.

turnabout is fair-play no?
