You put illegal immigrants on a pedestal and you take a dump on the American people and you want us to blame the other side!

Trump the Republican Wolf has been protecting and furthering the interests of Homeland , Russian ,and other foreign Criminals FOR decades.

I cannot wrap my head around this level of willful ignorance.
The wall (and DACA) have absolutely no bearing on this spending bill... can you point to a single point of contention from the Democrats?

Schumer and Co gambled they could extort a DACA deal... The Schumer Shutdown it's going to bite them in the ass hard.

Idiots running the country.

They are all to blame and like someone said this morning they need to pass a law that removes the government shutdown. This will prevent the American people from suffering when the babies running the government will not work together.

If they worked for a business or company the majority of them would be looking for another job.

She then said, “I don’t want one moment to pass with there being any uncertainty of any soldier anywhere in the world that they will be paid for the valiant work they do on behalf of our national security.”

Despite widespread concern for the issue amongst both Democratic and Republican voters, Republican leadership didn’t show any regard for protecting military pay as they moved to shut down the government.
McConnell quickly objected to McCaskill’s resolution — and instead left military pay up in the air along with the other casualties of his party’s decision to grind the federal government to a halt."

That's what I consider disgusting...
My disgust is bipartisan. Neither party voted in any significant numbers to continue to pay our military. I think they all couldn't care less about the military and their families. But they sure do care about their own pay and benefits.

By the way, the Pay Our Military Act was introduced months ago (by a Republican for the record) but also has not been voted on one way or the other. It would have affected this situation.

They're all grandstanding. From both parties. It's ridiculous and disgusting.

Here's a good article on how this brouhaha affects our military:

As a rule, That should never happen. That should be enough incentive to pass a budget regardless of what is not in it.

FACT: More Dem senators voted for the CR than Pub senators voted against it.

Check your scorecard.

It's OK to look at reality instead of swallowing what rwnj talking heads feed you.

You are not kidding. THEY should get paid and our congressmen and senators should NOT get paid till they pull their act together. Now THAT would be some incentive to work together.
