Much of the Federal govt would keep running under a "shutdown"
It depends on how the White House chooses to spend the money that is available. Obama closed national parks, but Trump's admin just announced they won't pay the military and border patrol. Strange priorities, but its Trumps call.

They all suck IMHO.
They aren't RINOS because they don't toe the party line, although thats certainly a huge part of it, but its because they are closet liberals/commies/America haters.

These are the Swamp Rats....all of the Dems, of course, plus some of the GOP.

Right, but do we really have a choice? Can we choose between corrupt or most corrupt? Dumb or dumber? Selfish or greedy?

I'm saying many of them are out for self and money, not the people. I think folks that are elected to such high offices should have a pattern of service, not popularity.

As usual, Trump creates his own problems.
Schumer isn't even a real American. He's an Israeli.

Whose interests is he putting first? Israel's? Or America's? He cannot be trusted, since he is an agent of a foreign power.

He said.....teary eyed, with his lips puckering....like an Emmy nominee.

Probably had something to do with your second in command, Senator Dickie.....coming out of a closed door meeting and saying that the President said a bad word. Dickie even tried to toss a little teary eye and lip puckering into the performance, but he doesn't have Chuckie's talent.

I'm guessing that Chuckie and Dickie had plenty of wedgies and swirlys in their youth if they were pulling stunts like that. What a couple of useless weenies.

Now think on this a minute. Do you honestly think that terrorist, criminals, or drug cartel folks are going to stopped by a stupid wall?

I'll bet drug cartels are in favor of the wall, just as they are in favor of keeping marijuana illegal. It's good for profits.

It will not stop terrorists. The 9/11 folks all came over on planes with visas.

It will not stop criminals/drug cartels. They take boats, fly over, dig under, ...

Wake up. This wall is a way to rile the RW base.

They appear to be riled.

Does anyone truly believe the majority of Americans are gullible enough to buy this BS about how the Republicans aren't the majority and can't pass a CR?
Put the U.S. Military on the border. That and the "stupid" wall would really make a difference.

The Democrats who shut down the government rather than lose favor with illegal aliens, made that decision.

Strange priorities,
The strangest. We need to vote those Democrats out. Too bad we can't prosecute them for lying to (the rest of) Congress and violating their oaths of office.

That's not the government's fault. It's yours. Quit buying multiple $100/mo cell phone contracts, Reeboks, and Starbucks. And you will have a nest egg to tide you over until the "shutdown" ends and you receive full back pay to cover the time you didn't have to work. While the rest of us still had to pay you full taxes.

Or maybe, get a real job where you actually earn the money they pay you. Your wages will feel more valuable to you, and you won't need some guy in a form to tell you what useless fluff not to buy.
As a federal employee who is working through the shutdown, I don’t care how long the shutdown lasts, as long as democrats stick to her ideals. And yes, I have money saved to get me through as long as it takes to get my back pay. But, the majority of employees I supervise are not earning legendary wages, most earn less than 50k annually and, the majority of them work their butts of, 50 to 60 hours a week. This ongoing bs that government workers don’t have “real” jobs and do not work hard is total horses*#*t. Most are hard working and living paycheck to paycheck. But, when I informed them yesterday that they are all “excepted employees” who will continue to work next week but will have to wait indefinitely for a paycheck, not a single person complained. I am proud to be a federal employee and proud of the work we do.

Not sure the Russian and Republican propaganda campaign is having quite the impact they'd hoped.

Excellent. I’m hopeful intelligence will continue to prevail.

This administration and the Russian bots are pushing a lot of propaganda.

That's going a little too far. He is an American who was born and raised in Brooklyn.
