Speaking of DACA/Dreamers, it is my understanding that there are @ 800,000 DACA people but if Dreamers are included the number is closer to 4,000,00. You can't vote on a Bill that doesn't yet exist; it's time to recognise that the Budget must be taken care of now(before midnight tonight); DACA has until March 5th.
Active military still get paid.

Dreamers are DACA.

If Republicans want to do something about illegals they would make e verify mandatory and the fines hefty.

A vast majority of the people of this country, including republicans, are in favor of extending the provisions of DACA. The Republicans will pay a steep price in the 2018 elections, if they block this bill. By holding up such legislation for ransom and then pulling another bait-and-switch trick, what credibility they might still have, would be gone.

Why should the Republicans go along with any DACA bill? It was unconstitutionaly implemented by Obama.

There are no accurate polls denoting that most people want to vote against their own interest via DACA. No, it's the Democrats that will pay for putting illegal aliens above our own citizen's needs and for shutting down our government.

Exactly -- there seems to be a whole lot of dancing about and nobody really wants to make the first move.

Trump has e-verify in his 2018 budget. It's been the Democrats who have blocked it in the past.

if you read moosehuggers posts they are anti everything. I find it hard to believe Moosehugger is a real poster, he/she may well be real but the posts don't ring true to me.

What? What are you babbling about? You falsely accuse me of fabricating the numbers from the Bureau of Labor statistics and now you present some half-baked theory and demand I debunk it? Get real. If you want to peddle your nonsense, you can present it in readable form and find your own links to support it. Its not my job to do your homework for you. And until you do, its just your speculation and nothing more.

We are talking about passing a law to address DACA. The dubious claim that it was unconstitutional is moot in the context of that discussion. Good try at deflection, though.

Aaaaand for my final act, I present the tried and true "all polls that disagree with me are lies" argument. Its a personal favorite, I must admit.

Yes, there are 800,000 DACA, but they estimate there is close to 4 million Dreamers.
There is where they get us, like they did in 1986 and the said 400,000 and over 4 million came forward.
and the next wave starts!!!

NO DACA period!
I was promised in 1986 it was going to be a one time and one time only deal. To get me to accept it.

Tick tock...
I'm not sure. Conservatives usually pick unborn fetuses over U.S. citizens, so I'm not really sure how sacrosanct citizenship is here. Is the correct answer: Fetuses > U.S. Citizens > illegal aliens?
