If you were brought somewhere as an infant, grew up there, had family there, had friends there, had a job there... You're telling me you would leave after 30+ years in that location?

You would actually move yourself back to what is essentially a foreign country?
Remember, to qualify for DACA, you have to meet done qualifications - there are standards in place.
They knew they were illegal before they had family here, got a job. Their home country is not a foreign country. What I would or wouldn't do it is irrelevant. What would they do if they were in my situation and I were in their home country illegally. They would want me deported, and I would oblige.
I didn't expect to spend my evening convincing young military wives that things are going to be ok. Some of them their husbands training/schools are being cancelled and they are being sent home Monday, others are sitting until something gets worked out. Some wives who work full time are almost in tears because their jobs do not cover their expenses. Some their jobs don't even touch their rent here.
It's amazing to see how many are ticked and ranting that the border and DACA should not be part of this.

Yes it's a mess because of Trump. The bipartisan committee presented him a bill which he wouldn't sign. We have had government shutdowns before and survived.
You know, I’m pretty convinced that shutting down the government was Trump’s ultimate goal. I think it’s another way for him to get adulation from his idiot fan base who doesn’t appreciate the work of government workers.
Trump and his fan base do not care about the nearly 3 million US civil servants.

And what you would or would not do is not irrelevant. It is the question I asked you, the least you can do is answer it.
I'm sorry, but where you grew up is your home. If you're only born somewhere and have no memories of it, that is not your home.
When someone asks you where you're "from", you answer with where you grew up, not where you were born as a baby.
And you know what? The overwhelming majority of Americans support DACA. This is not a partisan issue.
if this goes to the supreme court, they will rule in favor of daca
