I've thought about this question many times. would I buy something only because it was made in America? my answer is no.
I prefer to support American made all things being equal. but, if my sheets are made in x country for half the price of American made and are the same quality, I choose foreign made.
In my experience, Made In America is synonymous with overpriced low quality junk. I am not going to pay more for low quality crap just because it is made in the US. I bought an American car once, worst purchase decision of my life and with a few notable exceptions like dress shoes I have avoided American made products ever since.
So you're judging the entire output of a country based on one product you bought once years ago? Brilliant.
I find it to be unsettling when I see people with Veteran plates driving Toyota pickup trucks. Especially the new TuRD ones. Something is just not right about that. Real fugly looking trucks too. There seems to be a lot of them who like them. What a shame.
If the quality is there then yes, if not then no. It also depends on how much more the item will cost.
Same here the quality of said items need to be brought up to par with the rest of the world. If not then one might as well by the same thing but better quality and cheaper.
