Now we know that Trump lied to us about knowing that Cohen had paid the $130,000 to Stormy & he reimbursed him in installments in order to make it seem like legal bills instead.
It's called a cover up.

Mr. Trump likely paid him in installments in an attempt to avoid the reporting requirements, continuing the 'cover up' strategy.
Personally, I found it odd that some folks wanted to ignore Mr. Trump's decades long pattern of defrauding American people, but then again, I'm a NYer.
It's rather difficult to ignore (or give him a 'mulligan' for) things like these:
