How do incompetent boobs arrange for the ending of the 60 years Korean War and the imminent release of 3 American prisoners held by NK which the prior Admin couldn't accomplish?
Easy. They concede to NK. NK wanted the big Nukes and they got em. Trump Admin did nothing but talk tough. Now Kim gets to sit at the table with legit world leaders. THEY ARE GETTING EVERYTHING THEY WANTED. Just sleep well at night knowing a Nuclear Armed NK is on our level. Nukes level the playing field. Kim understood the formula. He played Trump like a fiddle.
Up until yesterday, Trump took the position that he had no idea of Cohen's payment. Today, he reverses course, says he knew about it, and definitively declares it did not violate campaign finance law. He must think Americans (and, in particular, his supporters) are the dumbest people on Earth.

Well, Trump is pretty well known for stiffing people he owes. Loves to brag about how much money he has but doesn't like to spend it.
Knowing what we know today, are we getting to the point to where there is no such thing as a smart Trump supporter?
Can one be an informed, mature adult that cares about the country, and still support Donald J Trump as president? Is it possible at this point?
Because if the way this Stormy Daniels saga was is any indication how how Trump operates the WH, we are screwed.

Because I knew all the stuff about Trump years before he ran for office--often from books he intially cooperated with--then when the writers wrote the truth of his behavior, Trump withdrew his "approved" status

He was at this time unable to pursue further nuclear research, because his facility has collapsed. So, ignore that fact, and act like you are making concessions in order to get concessions from the US President. And the US President will ignore the fact that North Korea's nuclear program is in ruins, because the US President's ego wants to claim that he's responsible for "disarming" North Korea.

The Trump supporters I know are not into reading books . They seem to enjoy looking down on others or looking for a scapegoat. Then there are the ones who just are a fan of their team they were born into. From a child they were taught that Democrats are evil lazy people who just want to live off of your hard earned money. Those people I understand cause I was taught the very same thing about Republicans as a child. Politics is a nasty business.

Bannon was PART of the white house. The day he was fired he wrote that Kim has US!!!!! Who am I going to believe?
Watching S4 of "The Americans"--we never watched before
E9 is "The Day After" episode--where the various characters watch the TV movie about nuclear war...
I can remember watching that first hand...powerful...
And frankly the shock that people felt watching it and seeing the damage that nuclear war could bring --- I think the people who support Trump will never accept the truth of the danger Trump poses...not just about Cohen's payments and the campaign fund problems
But everything Trump has done to undermine the rule of law and our justice system---
He is having a more dramatic and damaging effect than the Kennedy assassination did on Americans belief in government--
Doubts about CIA coomplicite in the killing
Doubts about Johnson being involved
The first strong belief in a conspiracy circulated in all levels of society
A real crumbling in our belief in the "goodness" of America---the loss of Camelot
Of course lot of what we lost were illusions that didn't exist in the first place
But once that process starts it is very difficult to reverse engineer the bulwarks destroyed
