i'm currently keeping an open mind on this point. i think it's equally as likely that this is just laziness on the part of cohen ( not changing names ) as it is that trump is the "david dennison" in this agreement.

if avenatti produces other settlement agreements that list trump as "david dennison" i'll start leaning in the direction of trump over broidy.

Not saying Cohen isn't a lackadaisical lawyer. You'll get no argument from me there.

But read this.

"Broidy has a history of bribing public officials to enhance the economic prospects of his business ventures. "

"In 2009, he pleaded guilty to bribing New York State Comptroller Alan Hevesi."

"one of Broidy’s bribes even involved paying off the girlfriend of one of the officials he was bribing"

Theory: Playboy Model Had Affair With Trump, Not Broidy

Anything sound familiar?

interesting but still not enough to sway me at the moment.

if the stormy daniels settlement agreement is found invalid i think it will open the dam to others with similar agreements with cohen/trump to come forward.

Two of the issues with Stormy Daniels settlement agreement is that Trump left his signature line blank and that the penalties for violation are unconscionable. We don't know if the similar agreements are likewise defective.

Outing Trump is such a nasty business, Trump (and his supporters) such mean, name-calling vindictive bully, I can't imagine why the average mistress/girlfriend would take on the punishment and notoriety just for the opportunity to possibly sell a story to make a few bucks. Stormy Daniels I can understand - I don't consider porn stars "average" - but not the others. Avenatti has said he's vetting these women. He also said it remains to be seen if they will go public - for the exact reasons I cite. Way too much abuse. Definitely not for the faint of heart.

Definitely not for the faint of heart.

Stephanie Clifford seems up to it. That woman gives as good as she gets. Her Twitter feed is full of responses to tweets that have since been deleted.

Fascinating article about Broidy, the guy Cohen funnelled a $1.6 million payment through his shell company to a Playboy model for.

Also "Monday, the Associated Press reported on the months-long 2017 lobbying effort carried out by Broidy and George Nader that brought the pair close to securing nearly $1 billion in contracts with the Saudis and the Emeratis in exchange for lobbying against their enemy, Qatar."

More on Broidy's good fortune since he paid a Playboy model for an abortion and her silence without even asking for a paternity test, or even any evidence that he knew her at all.

Default Avenatti hit with 10 million in bankruptcy judgment

Law firm of Stormy Daniels attorney hit with $10 million judgment

Avenatti claims that it has nothing to do with him personally..it's just the law firm..you know..the one that bears his name?

BTW..Uncle Sam wants his back taxes!

Brief quote:

"The law firm of Stormy Daniels' attorney Michael Avenatti was hit with a $10 million judgment Tuesday in U.S. Bankruptcy Court after he broke his promise to pay $2 million to a former colleague.
Judge Catherine Bauer of U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Santa Ana ordered Eagan Avenatti to pay the $10 million to Jason Frank, a lawyer who used to work at the Newport Beach firm.
"At this point, that's what's appropriate," Bauer said at a brief hearing.
To settle his law firm's bankruptcy, Avenatti had personally guaranteed that the $2 million would be paid to Frank last week, but both he and his firm failed to turn over the money.

At the hearing, the U.S. Justice Department revealed that Avenatti's firm has also defaulted on back taxes that it promised to pay the Internal Revenue Service under another bankruptcy settlement.
Assistant U.S. attorney Najah Shariff told the judge that the federal government would soon file a motion demanding payment of the back taxes."

What does this have to do with Daniel's case against Trump?
