LMAO....a literal wall is a complete joke.

It's just one of the leftists' sillier protests. "Iffen it ain't perfect, then it ain't *****".

These are the kind of people who would tell you that if the fire department saves 500 lives in house fires, but two people die in fires, that means we should disband the Fire Department because it isn't perfect.

For the umpteenth time, not all illegals are coming here to work even though I agree that e-verify should be mandated to remove that particular incentive to come here. Unless we also deny their kids birthright citizenship and benefits they'll continue to come. Criminals, terrorists and the drug cartels aren't looking for work either, thus the wall. It's a lot cheaper than the over $100 billion a year that they cost us. Better to deter them at the border as much as we can than to allow them to get in here where they are much harder to weed out and more expensive to do so.

So they move to another location to go through again.

Maybe the commandos weren't really motivated to get up that wall. Maybe they were sent there for a feel good story to rile up the base.
Maybe they should have searched youtube. The Vietnamese tactical team scaled a 30 foot wall with nothing but a wooden pole.

Ever heard of tunnel sensors? You don't think we guard our waterways already? Flying over in a parachute? A parachute can be shot down. Next lame argument.......

If you're going to have someone standing every short distance to shoot down people climbing over it, why build the wall in the first place instead of just hiring guards? Seriously, a 2-300 dollar ladder can overcome a 30 foot wall. Or a cheaper ladder if you're a risk taker.

You anchor the rope to the ground on the ladder side. Either to a dug-in ground anchor or something suitably heavy. Bring some anti-chafe material (sackcloth, or an old garden hose slit lengthwise) as you climb the ladder. Drape rope over top of wall, lower yourself. An improvised climbing harness and a carabiner makes for increased safety and comfort, abseil without one hurts.

Is there an army in the world that does not cover this in a field manual?

That's the point! It's already happened where the good walls are in place. They are forced to try and enter at more difficult and dangerous areas so fewer will try and the Border Patrol can take care of those areas. Once we have all 700 miles of wall built on our most porous areas that's what will happen. Now you guys are just grasping at straws. Just because some Vietnamese tactical team did it doesn't mean that woman and children or even male illegal aliens could do it. If some managed to do it you don't think we'd be on it like fleas on a dog and put a stop to it?

Or just pull up the ladder and lower it to the other side. Or use one of those emergency fire escape rope ladders. So many simple ways to defeat a wall.

Post #4. Intelligence is a requirement for Special Forces.

I climbed about 30 feet to work on my roof this winter. I'm not part of a tactical team, just a cheap self-sufficient homesteader type. I could get over that wall. Most people in decent physical shape could.
