Look if you want to end daca and build a wall that’s your choice, but please don’t hold our troops hostage.

How do you know this? To know that you would have to be privy to what Mueller has uncovered.

Trump is trying to pretend he is the decision maker on this and it is clear he isn't.
It seems obvious someone is puppeteering him and reversing all his decisions. Kelly? Putin?

Just keep ignoring Schumer's role in the shutdown, so you can keep blaming it on Trump. Does it get easier as time goes on? More people are learning how this came about, and when enough people know what happened, those that continue to obfuscate the truth will only have egg on their face.

Why is Trump choosing his wall and ending daca over the needs of our troops?

You're taking it out of context. What Trump said/meant is that if there was no reasonable deal brought to the table only then should the government be shut down. Why do you guys leave those things out? Should Trump have kept the government open based on that?

I didn't blame Trump -- I said it was ALL their fault and that's the truth.

You can't have egg on your face when it is all opinion.

And why do people ignore that Bush and Obama already put up a very good set of barriers all along the southern border? I suppose so that Trump can later show them pictures and say that he built it - and his minions will believe him.

How many times do you and yours have to be told that Trump never said Mexico would write a check for the wall? He can barter for it in other ways and will. In the meantime we need funds to get it started. I don't really care who pays for it as it's still a bargain since illegal aliens cost us $100 billion a year.

There are only 76 miles of the good walls on the border the rest are mostly flimsy fences. Congress already approved 700 miles of the good walls in 2006. Now it needs to be completed and funded. No need for snotty remarks either. We aren't stupid as you are implying.

By barter you mean hold the government hostage to extract 18 billion from taxpayers to pay for it?

He’s a poor negotiator and it’s showing.

You are clueless. Ever if it were true that today more are visa over stayers there are still thousands of illegals still jumping our border every year. The wall will address the latter and tracking visa over stayers will address the former. The good walls have been very effective in deterring border jumpers. Yes, I do feel better knowing that.
