Besides, no one party actually controls the Senate, unless they have 60 solid votes on their side.

The only winners with the proposed amendment are everybody not in the Senate or not super partisan anywhere else. That pretty much means a large majority of the people in America would favor such an amendment.

Dershowitz is who I got the idea from in order to start this thread. Credit goes to the smartest man in America at this point.
