Im for a real shut down, all fedguv employees should go without pay (stay home for all I care) . Dont like it, dont be dependent on it.

The Congress gets paid - so shut it. They can pay the govt people even if certain aspects close - like parks and visa and passports locations - but essentials still have to show up n NOT get any money for it as a rightful n lawful exchange for working there. All of is BS. They keep playing with people like pawns on a board. All of them are Azzholes. Only way to stop this mess for ever - walk out. Nobody shows up !
Obama made sure the military was paid when the 2013 Republican led Congress shutdown the country. Why can't Trump control his own party enough to make sure our fighting men and women get paid? Where are his vaunted negotiating skills?

I don't think Trump hates the military. I think he doesn't understand it.
He doesn't understand the honor and respect the military have for fallen soldiers and their families, or for POWs either.
I don't think he understands the sacrifices soldiers and their families make to protect our nation.
His comments on how he knew more than the generals was just stupid.
And let me guess? Did you support Obama? Obama the president that did his best to destroy the military generals that didn't he agree with his anti-American policies.
