Most of my Republican friends are struggling.

I anticipate they will still vote Republican but I think he's going to have a harder time than the last election.

I stopped believing in polls because they were telling us Hillary was leading by a large margin and would have a 99% chance winning. Now look what happened....

Which poll said that?

Never heard that.

If I did I wouldn't have been glued to my TV on election night with more alcohol than necessary.

I may have over exaggerated on the 99% part but polls did predict Hillary would win.

But I don't think people are going to vote for a leftist loon like Elizabeth Warren or Kamala Harris. They might win the coasts but lose bad in the Midwest and South.

It is quite interesting that not only is he the worst, but he is the worst by a mile.

38.4%. Damn.
"Heaping praise"? Give me a break.

Trump supporters "refuse" to believe anything that is not heaping praise huh..we REFUSE? I think you have it wrong my backwards friend.. It seems liberals refuse to acknowledge anything good Trump has done.

Doesn't matter. Trump still has full support and enthusiasm from his base.

News flash - Many, including myself are not big Trump fans for various reasons, yet voted for him. Not because he had a (R) next to his name, or that his opponent had a (D) next to her name. Rather it was because Trump was a much better choice than the alternative.

He certainly has been crass, rude, and even un-presidential in my estimation with all the tweets and things he gets involved with that should be well below the radar of the president.
However, Hillary is and was corrupt, and the mindless sycophants didn't care so long as another leftist (D) was elected.
So I am more that capable of criticizing Trump when he deserves it, but he is a breath of fresh air in many respects as well. He is willing to call out people in his own party and administrations, which is rare indeed in DC.

Regardless, it is little wonder why Trump's numbers might really be low, considering the constant assault on Trump (at least 9-1 negative) by the liberal/leftist/socialist media.

Not that I am comparing, but not even Gandhi or Mother Theresa could withstand the constant hatred, and still have their virtues/accomplishments be extolled.
Fortunately most of middle America knows the polls are tools of the leftist swamp, designed to diminish the conservatives, and prop up the liberals.

We have seen it since the 1960's with no end in sight.

None of that matters.

The next election will be between Trump and a Democrat that is just as unpopular with working Americans as Hillary.

Several minor parties will siphon off enough votes that no one receives a majority and Trump will win a second term with a solid plurality of the vote.
