"We've got a bunch of dumb [expletive] over there," Salcido says in the recording. "Think about the people who you know who are over there – your freaking stupid Uncle Louie or whatever – they're dumb [expletive]. They're not like high-level thinkers, they're not academic people, they're not intellectual people; they're the freaking lowest of our low."
hahahahahahaha
Oh my God, I cannot stop laughing.
This person is a teacher? He sounds like an idiot.
“The problem with the world is that the intelligent people are full of doubts, while the stupid ones are full of confidence.”
Nice try. No, it is the result of ONE man who has an unusual opinion and felt compelled to blurt it out. Nothing more, nothing less. It may shock you, but many of us LIBS served and respect the military.
But that doesn't fit your narrative, does it ?
Oh good grief, I was a high school teacher and know thoroughly well the consequences of democrats controlling our education system for decades. This is not a singular incident -- teachers shaming and insulting conservative students, teachers focusing continually on how bad America is, students not allowed to wear clothing with American flag on it, teachers having lower expectation of minority students, school administrators minimizing the violence in minority-majority schools, etc etc etc
We've gone from one of the highest countries in the world for education to down near the bottom.......

Conservatives and liberals, let's not fight, okay?
Let's just admit this one"teacher" is an idiot. We don't want such person in our school system. How can we compete with the rest of the world if we allow him to teach? come on now.
Ugly and stupid. Very sad. The attitude towards the military and the veterans says a LOT about a country. Think about it.

Allowing such a person to "teach" is suicide.
I agree (as posted earlier).
Funny thing is that it's hard to get to what you're suggesting when the POTUS himself is so anti-military and denegrates war heros and gold-star families regularly.
Culture is set from the top, and right now we have a person at the top who is going to take a situation that was admittedly very bad before he got in office, and is going to (and has already) make it worse.
We can do better with our leaders and our teachers.

This needs to be repeated. Liberal/Progressive politicians, and their policies have ruined much of education, and urban areas.
All those tough heroes in the military can take the criticism.
After all, aren't we told over and over we have troops in about 170 countries to defend the rights of us citizens? i.e. this lefty professor.
May the rabid fleas from all of the camels infest his nethers.
Best post I've seen in weeks. Well done.
