There's nobody left in the DNC hierarchy that isn't senile or damaged goods. So they go back to ancient history to drag a name out that still has some positive( but not much) resonance.
Positive resonance? A family with a long history of sexual abuse, predation and harassment? With support and compromising with Communists? With public drunkenness and philandering as their claims to fame? A history of supporting Nazis? Not to mention murder? What exactly is a positive about the Kennedy name? The fact that Jack had a cute little wife (that he cheated on for years)?

Depends on how the Dems' voter base has been cultivated. If it's pro- #WhitePrivilege and pro- #InheritedWealth, Joe Kennedy is a winning pick.

I used to work for Joe as an intern in college. There was only ever one hard rule in his office...don't ever call him "sir." It's just "Joe."
