One of the few things I do not like about POTUS Trump is that he feels the need to lie so often. I am uncertain as to why he feels the need to make things up. It somewhat hurts his credibility.
Trump on SOTU viewership, taken directly from his tweet: "45.6 million people watched, the highest number in history."
George Bush, 2003 - 62 million
Bill Clinton, 1998 - 53 million
George W. Bush, 2002 - 51.8 million
Barack Obama, 2010 - 48 million
Bill Clinton, 1994 - 45.8 million
Why feel the need to lie about that? It only provides the left with things to nitpick. He gave a strong speech that got a boatload of applause.
So, how many people did watch Trumps SOTU? is that 46 million ONLY via TV ratings? does that number include people livestreaming it thru youtube? Twitter? Are we counting only 1 person for every TV?
